L'artista finlandese Joel Slotte è nato nel 1987a Kokkol e vive e lavora a Helsinki. Ha frequentato dal 2007 al 2009 The Nordic Art School, Kokkola e dal 2010 la Uniarts Helsinki's Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, ottenendo un MFA nel al 2016.
