L'artista scozzese Lesley Mclaren è nata a Glasgow nel 1959. Ora vive e dipinge negli Scottish Borders. Ha frequentato il Maidstone College of Art and Design Foundation (1976-77) e in seguito l'Exeter College of Art and Design BA (Hons) Pittura (1977-82).
