L'artista pakistano Salman Toor è nato a Lahore nel 1983.Vive e lavora a New York City. Nel 2006 ha ottenuto un Bachelor of Fine Art (Pittura e disegno), con lode, alla Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware Ohio. Nel 2009 ha conseguito un Master of Fine Art (Pittura), presso il The Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York.
